2005 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

In 2005, forty $1000 scholarships were awarded to students at our three flagship high schools. Each year, 13 scholarships are awarded to students at each ASF school - based on the thirteen character traits that students in each school have chosen.

The founder of the ASF, Carol Jean Young, awarded one additional scholarship in memory of her father, Billy E. Lovette, who passed away in the summer of 2004. A man with deep personal commitment to responsibility and determination, the recipient of this special scholarship was chosen for exemplifying similar qualities. In 2005, it was awarded to Christopher from Woodlawn High School.
