Maynard Benjamin - ASF Advisory Board


Maynard Benjamin has been CEO of the Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA) since 1990. A native of Williamsburg, Virginia, Mr. Benjamin has had a life-long interest in philately (that which surrounds postal history). He was nominated by Vice President Dick Cheney to serve on the board of the Smithsonian Institution's Wilton M. Blount Center for Postal Studies. He is also a member of the Advisory Group of the Universal Postal Union, a United Nations affiliate, and a member of the Directors' Council of the National Postal Museum. His book, The History of Envelopes, was published in 1997.
